Friends Til The End Chat

We've added a chat link in the upper right hand corner of our homepage.It's a room that has been set up for our group by Sarky.It's not a DS chat and we may have an occasional uninvited person enter the room.We want to have administrators there just like in group to handle problems arising there.Sarky has said to please let her know of any problem and she'll try to help with it.I'm here most of the time too.Let us know if there's a problem.

Many times our members need to know someone is there to help them through the bad times.Chat is also a great way to get to know each other.I think it can be a great tool for the group.Thank you Sarky for doing this for us!If nobody is in the room,you can click on members to see which ones are online.You could then post asking if anyone wants to chat.I'm sure I'm leaving out a ton of things here.We can add to this topic as we go!With this chat multiple users can chat at the same time too.

  Checked it out.. great chat room! Thanks Sarky and thanks Lesa for telling us about it. Will be fun to use and also a great place for members having a rough time and needing live chat to get them through it.

  I love the chat room. Thanks Lesa, Kathy, and Sarky Cow for helping me get through my panic attack. It meant so much to me. I love you all very much.

  Great! You got the link added :) I just hope people use it - Its good for group chats or one on one. Means that we can all get to know one another better! Plus there is nothing to download which is always a bonus :)
  
  If anyone has any questions or problems, defo just send me a wee message or hug - im no computer genuis! But if there is someone in the room causing trouble who isnt supposed to be there i can deal with that or any other little problems, hehe.

  When you first come into the room you're given a strange name when you first sign in.You can change it to your own name after you get in.Since it's not a DS chat room,we need to let each other know who we are for security reasons.Just type in the dialog box who you are so those chatting will know.Screen names are fine as long as those present know who you are.
  
  Somtimes uninvited people can try to come in.I thought this was an outsider tonight.I'm so sorry Linda.This is all very new to me too and some things we are playing by ear.After you're signed in the first time it will remember you when you come back.We want to make this a safe place for all of us to come to.
  
  It's a really neat tool I think.We don't have schedules there.Anyone from group can use it at anytime.If you have problems please let us know.Tonight the problem was me!Sorry!

A group for those of us here who get more from our friendships than from the available discussion groups.A place to be accepted and appreciated for who we are.Somewhere to always feel safe and know that especially on the bad days we are here for each other.A place for encouragement and love.
