...what fall traditions do you follow?

We celebrate the last harvest of the year and gather for the last time until the winter passes. It is a time for celebrating births and weddings, blessings that have some to us and to mourn the passing of those that have gone the year before. We do the regular family gathering on Thanksgiving Day but go to the powwow over the weekend.

Puts me in mind of an Indian joke....

Why did our ancestors go to the first Thanksgiving???
We thought it was a going away party.

(chuckle chuckle)

This was not meant to offend anyone. I'm mixed blood so I catch hell from both sides. LOL

Take care and please take a few minutes to share with us any of your fall or autumnal celebrations, ceremonies or traditions. Gentle cool hugs.....(looking forward to the cooler weather myself)
