I was up....as usual....before the sun. It was a bit cooler than it has been but we are getting some monsoonal moisture out of AZ. The moisture in the air made for a beautiful sunrise. As I sat in my hammock chair, I could hear the crickets and that was about it until the owl flew out of the palm tree checking me out. It sat there and we talked for a few minutes and he went off on his last hunting run of the night with his "quick quick quick" call.

Bear is quickly putting himself on the endangered species list again. I am trying to keep my patience with him. We are leaving Friday morning....early early, so we can get out of the desert before it gets hot.....and he was supposed to set up an automatic watering system for my gourds. Well..he is STILL working on it...long story and will be in my journal. Which means I will only be able to make sure it works properly for 24 hours. (sigh) Plus we were supposed to get a canvas canopy done on Monday evening. I did the stitching on the canvas and he is still looking for his grommits and just got the poles cut this morning. Plan was to load the van tonight so that we both could rest tomorrow. Well....guiess what??? Screwed by Bear again!!! arghhhhh......

I am feeling fairly good this morning. Still hurting but don't seem to be as tired and my spirit is good so hoping to get my laundry done and a camp dress for a friend made today.
