A blue Monday....

What is going on in the main board?? I finally quit reading a couple of the main threads because there was so much anger in them. I am hoping that it doesn't continue and ends soon.

Its gotten so hot down here that during the day there aren't many critters moving. The only critter that's out and about are the crows. Makes me wonder how they can tolerate the sun with those black feathers. They must have some form of insulation. Occasionally you see a jack rabbit or a cotton tail but only early in the morning or in the early evening. Oh....and the lizards. I have some lizards that I "feed" every evening. When I go out and water my private garden, the bugs run up the wall of the house. The lizards just wait on the wall for me to come out. As the bugs run up and out of the water, the lizards have a schmorgessbord (sp?)

I am gonna start getting tipi stuff together today. The body still feels as crappy as it has but the spirit is good and strong so we are going on that.

  I am glad I missed all the hell on the main board. I pick and choose what I read so I guess that is my saving grace sometimes.
  I hope you have all the energy you need to get all your things done that need to be done!!! I know that it is way to hot here also so the only thing you see outside is dogs when they have to and the birds!!! I wish it would cool down some!!!!
  Take care sister and don't over do it getting the tipi things ready!!!

  Yes Love, Monday was a strange, angry day. I have come to believe two things: 1.) that there is a member here who is suffering very badly with emotional and physical issues and these have made her very angry. It seems to me that often when she write a comment, it is lashing out and angry. and 2.) that the anger on the board goes in some sort of cycle, that I have not figured out yet.
  
  The good thing is that yesterday's theme did not seem to last entirely too long and things seems more quiet today.
  
  I hope you begin to feel a bit better soon. I am happy to hear that your spirit is good though. Take care and have a good time this weekend.

  All it takes is one. But I am glad that it didn't seem to continue. I agree....I think there is a cycle to it. It isn't on a lunar cycle......I thought that at one time. Oh well....we rode this one out quite well.
  
  I'll bring back lots of pictures for ya'll. This is a fun event....its the longest living historical timeline in the US. It starts with the days of the Roman Empire and goes up through the current time. It is sponsored by Ft. MacArthur so it has a military theme....they reenact different battles, etc. For some reason, the 7th Cavalry (Custer's bunch) don't seem to want to reenact Little Big Horn with us since we can't seem to could up with blank arrows. (chuckle)
