DEBATE: CATS V DOGS

Posted on 05/10/08, 06:04 pm
cats, they are notorious for nicking food that isnt theirs., for lording it about the place, they dont care in which order they lick their arse cos they generally dont kiss humans anyway they are much too grand for that. I wish they wouldnt leave their fur and fleas everywhere. It doesnt matter what food flavour you buy them its never good enough, and every cat knows that rabbit flavoured food sucks! Cats have a tendency to poop in your flower beds then pretend it wasnt them when you confront them with the evidence, for this reason I reccommend that when you dig, plant or do anything in your flower bed, you first put on thick marigold gloves. then when you manipulate the soil it doesnt matter if you accidentally manipulate cat shit. Cats are loyal, if you give them what they want. They dont demand exercise when you are not feeling tickety boo, they instinctively know when you arent well, they purr and snuggle like dogs never can., Dogs can't compete with cats. Cats are independent, dogs are needy... I rest my case.

On the other hand............... anyone out there want to contribute to the debate and put the case for dogs. then when the debate finished I will take a toll and see who wins...

    ok, regarding dogs:

they can snuggle too!!! mine do, i would be lost without them, they can bring a smile to our face at our lowest moment....they make us exercise when we don't want to but they know it is good for us. they bring you your slippers, remote control the newspaper, they will protect you were a cat could care less!! LOL when you are cold they can curl up by you and warm you up.....they can tell when you don't feel well and know just what to do to take your troubles off your mind....they are smart, don't talk back, and wouldn't walk away from you when you are talking to them, they just show you how important you are to them....as they are to us....when you want to plant a garden they can help ya dig. and are very loyal they have been known to save lives of their family and even strangers, they can be employed...rescue dogs therapy dogs bomb sniffing dogs etc......ok hands down... DOGS RULE!!!!! did i win? heehee

Tea, I definitely think you've won! Dogs are also better at retrieving, they love to play catch and tug of war. They are great feet warmers and always make you feel welcome when you come into the house!

I cannot choose a snickerdudeall side furr I lurve both! I don't have any kitties any mo, but I wish I snickerdudeall did! My dohggies are the lurves of my life(don't worry, I still lurve my hubby & human kids)! I don't know what I'd do w/o my Mojo! If I were to loose him, I'd run around like Austin Powers yelling, "I've lost me Mojo!". He wasn't named after Austin Powers' mojo though. His proper name is Mojo Jojo, after the monkey on the Power Puff Girls! That monkey cracks me up! Monkies are totally snickerdudeall! Ummmmm....what were we talkin' 'bout again?!?

Birds!!! Birds do not coil themselves around your legs at feed time. birds dont come a-hopping onto your lap.. in fact cats eat birds, (and mice and other small rodents, heeeheee!!) birds dont drape themselves on my shoulder and purr down my ear, nor do birdss dribble when they happy.. Dogs cost too much to look after and get sick more then cats do

I used to have a cockatiel... her name was Dippy, she used to perch on my shoulder, lean right over and kiss me.. she used to whistle down my ear. fly around in a figure of 8 in my ballroom sized living room. she used to nick my pasta especially if it had garlic on it.. and sit on my lap too.. I had forgotten how much I loved her. No you will not win me over.. I love my cats. even tho they are snooty, picky with their food.. why won't cats eat rabbit flavoured cat food! what is it with this rabbit flavoured cat food..
