Glad to be here

I am new here to this group. I am also a member of the Hep C community. My wife found out I was sick and got a divorce. I am 56 and feel like there will never be anyone to share my life with.

  I'm so sorry that your wife left especially because of health, that is so sad and unfair. We are here for you! Don't hesitate to come back. Please don't ever say never be anyone to share your life with, you never know what is around the corner...we walk down the road of life and curves come up when we least expect them. When bad things happen, we need to take a rest on the curb and then go forward....just remember you're not alone. Hugs and hope, Deb

  I am very sorry that your wife left you because of your sickness. I stood by my boyfriend when he got sick with his heart disease. It was so hard to see him get weaker and weaker,but I could never have left him. He passed away last June and I miss him very much. It has been very lonely.I hope to someday find someone else to share my life with.I know he would have wanted me to be happy.

A place where when you feel alone, you can retreat and perhaps find someone else who is feeling those same feelings, finding solitude and compassion.
