Pregnant

I found out for my 41st birthday that I am pregnant! I am happy about another child, but have to admit that I have many concerns....I appreciate prayers! Most of my concern revolves around my age, any problems with the baby (my 2nd dtr was born without a developed femur) and post-partum relapse along with little help or support (except from my husband). I need some peace of mind and resting in the Lord regarding my situation. I have been through some tough times and have difficulty putting it behind me sometimes. Thank-you!

Oh Ronnie I can so relate to your situation. Just before my 40th birthday I found out that I was pregnant. I had just gone through a miscarriage the year before. I was happy but scared that the situation would repeat itself. After much praying the months went by with no problems and I delivered two weeks early and a fast delivery a precious baby girl. All the nurses commented how I was the oldest mother there, but was the most peppiest.

Today I have a very busy 17 year old high school senior who keeps her lucky parents young at heart.

Also my parents had me when they were 45, which made my 15 year old brother happy that he wasn't the baby of the family. Funny how what goes around comes around.

Believe in the Lord and he will guide you through these stressful times.

Thanks for your great story and encouragment...really needing it right now. Good news is that the worst of the nausea seems to be subsiding! I am awaiting my first ultrasound on Oct. 20th.

Welcome
