Hi everyone! I like this group. Very inspiring and different! Today I walked for 45 minutes on the treadmill and then did about 15 minutes of hand weights. I've been exercising regularly for a few months now. Before I dusted off the treadmill, I only played soccer on the weekends. It didn't seem enough so I decided I should try either walking/running outside, when the weather is nice, or do the treadmill so that I could feel better. Because of the increase in exercise, it shows on the soccer field. I can run faster and even do a pretty good job keeping up with some of the men opponents. Now only if I could lay off some of the food...(exercise makes you hungry...right?)

Today: 20 minutes on stationary bike, gym class (ran a lap, tennis for 20 mins) Thanks for joining y'all! It's weird - I'm almost excited to feel unmotivated to exercise, because then I'll come here, read some news stories, read some inspiring entries, and talk to some of you ^.^

HEY ALL! Glad to be in this group. I just started working out again since high school a few weeks ago. Been going straight for a week and a half now. Did elliptical for 30 minutes today! When you burn a calorie, post it!

For those of us who have hit rock bottom and have bounced off ready to take on the world again and get going! This group is for ALL members of DS who are committed to exercising in any way possible - a walk around the block or an hour at the gym - or for those who are just thinking about starting to exercise! Exercise can help control stress and is proven to help those with depression - its time to get going yall.
