Any good books or plays?????

im looking for some books or plays to read that ill be able to escape into...not so complex that i have to decipher a bunch of symbolism and stuff like that, but not so simple that id be done with it in an afternoon...anyone know any good ones????

Right now, as long as its fiction i dont mind...but my favorite types of books are ones that have a lot of drama and romance and suspence in them without getting all romance-novelish....lol. u know what i mean right? any books that involve fantasy....like a fairy tale in novel form....something i can read and feel like im escaping into....does that answer ure question or do u need more details?
