i would like 2 learn more about recyling plastic as theres no where near me that does & so many things r packed in plastic, what else can i do with it apart from throwing it in the bin, also i have 2 drink bottled water as the water from my tap is really bleachy i have complained but the water suppliers just say that its to do with the washer in my tap which i think is a load of bollocks, i feel so guilty throwing it in the bin, i dont drive so i cant take it 2 a recycling bin............which is probably miles from my home

Hello- I am new to this group, as of this morning. My suggestion about using the water bottles is to invest in a water filter- either one that attaches to your sink or a water pitcher. It's environmetally friendly- the one that attaches to your sink is probably more convenient, but it's all in what you prefer. Also, if you can, buy things in bulk. You can also reuse a lot of the plastic containers, like the margarine tubs or whatever for food storage. You can wash your plastic bread baags and produce bags and reuse them. Also reuse ziplock bags. You can save money like that. I think it's more important to reuse rather than recycle, even though recycling is great too. If I was you I would save up whatever recycleable things I use and maybe see if there is someone you can hook up with to take it to the recycling place. Maybe give them a little gas money or if they give you and money for what you bring then maybe split it up somehow. -
