Find ED's in High School or in College

With the way everything is portrayed, did it seem that girls suffered more from Eating Disorders (or disordered eating) in high school or in college?

  I feel like I saw more girls with eating issues in high school than in college. I think I overheard girls talk about it more. Granted my first school was a party school so most girls just ran on alcohol.

  I didn't know what anorexia nervosa was until some girl in high school said I looked "anorexic." So I went home, and looked it up. I began disordered eating when I was around 8 years old...but I see what you're saying.

  when i was a kid saying "anorexic" was like saying a bad word, and i never heard bulimic. going to public school i heard about it and learned more about it, but really it was always something in lifetime movies. until i met my friend this past year, my junior year in college, i never thought about it too much, doing all my research on it this year and thinking back i wish i had known back then what i know now and if some of the people i knew in high school may have had some eating disorders.

For all of those with Eating Disorders in College or Uni, this is where you can talk and feel safe. Please try not to be rude to one another and if someone asks for tips with recovery respect their wishes and try and help them!
