I know I've heard from some from some before, but for those I haven't reached yet I'm still trying to get out there.

I'm trying to start an ED support group at my university in the Fall and I need some suggestions. I don't have an ED and I've only really been introduced to it within the last year. I've done a lot of research and my best friend ( has anorexia) can help a lot, but I want others advise as well.
How do I get people to come? We live in a small area, at least an hour from any other services at all (even then there isn't anything much for EDs) What is the best way to get peoples attention? Its a small school. Do I need to go through the school? I literally starting this from scratch... any ideas would be soooo helpful. Thanks so much!!!

I'd say talk to some coordinators listed on the NEDA website. They can give you hints. Also, talk to the student body officers or email some head honchos of the school. Then find a therapist who will lead the group. I'll give more hints when I get home.

Welcome

For all of those with Eating Disorders in College or Uni, this is where you can talk and feel safe. Please try not to be rude to one another and if someone asks for tips with recovery respect their wishes and try and help them!
