husband wants a divorce.....

i know its not really my place to say anything, but i dont know what to tell my friend. her husband has been deployed to iraq for almost a year now and just randomly out of the blue told her he wants a divorce...he said he feels its better for both of them if they just divorce...shes so confused about this because they dont fight much and doesnt understand what brought it on. and he doesnt want to talk about it. they have only been married a little over a year but they have a 5 month old son. please someone give me some advice on what to tell her because i am honestly at a loss for words....

I WISH I KNEW WHAT TO TELL YA THAT IS A CRUEL WAY TO BREAK THE NEWS TO SOMEONE THAT THEY LOVE THAT THEY DONT WANT TO BE WITH THEM NO MORE. I THINK MAYBE SHE SHOULD GIVE HIM SOME TIME BECAUSE SOMETIMES WHEN U ARE AWAY FROM ONE ANOTHER U START TO FEEL DIFFERENT THINGS AND MAYBE HE IS JUST GOING THRU SOME THINGS AND INSTEAD OF SHARING THOSE THINGS WITH HER HE FEELS THE BEST THING IS TO LET HER GO AND BE HAPPY WITH SOMEONE ELSE WHICH IS CHITTY THING I MUST SAY BUT I HAVNT EVER BEEN THRU THIS AND IF MY HUBBY TOLD ME THAT I'D KICK HIS ASS BUT I WOULD TELL HER TO GET TO THE BOTTOM OF IT AND FIND OUT WHAT IS REALLY GOING ON AND NOT GIVE UP UNTIL SHE KNOWS WHAT IS REALLY GOING ON ! -
