I am Lisa and my best dog is Brandy the one in the pic with all the toys she got for Christmas. my family and i have other dogs, but i will tell you why brandy means the most to me. For those of you that donâ??t know me on sept. 25th 05 i miscarried my son, devastated i didnâ??t care about anything or anyone. at the time a couple and their 3 kids walked out after living with us for almost a year and stuck us with their 2dogs that were about to be parents. Icy, brandyâ??s mom went into labor 10days after i lost my baby she was to the last pup her 11th (one died) and was having trouble the pup was stuck i had to act quick so i started to turn and ease out the pup, which came right out with a little help she was so tiny, the runt of the group. she stuck out she was the only one with a white spot on her back i felt like i had given birth to her. we bonded quickly, we already had 9dogs (we have 14 + acre farm) and with the parents and pups we reached 21dogs all together. Lets talk about chaos! Lol anyway when the pups were house broke we had to take them and their parents to the pound cause no one wanted pups in our area. There was just something about her I begged to keep her I just couldnâ??t think about someone else raising the one â??I gave birth toâ?? I mean I found I could love again with her everything in me changed the day she was born. So I got my way and kept her I felt so much like her birth mom I even went out and got her a baby book in which I wrote all the stats form her birth I remembered like everything. She is not like the other dogs we have she is so smart. I am not talking about how many tricks she know, but about the way she looks at me when I am talking and she tilts her head like she gets everything I am saying. I donâ??t treat her as a dog but as my kid and my kid is going to be 3yrs old in exactly 10 days. Every year she just gets to be more and more special. I have been through a lot of stuff I the passed 3yrs and she is always there for me. The past couple weeks have been especially hard on me and I have cried myself to sleep a lot and every time I start crying she will get in my face and she wont lay down till her mommy had calmed down. Then and only then will she lay back down and go to sleep.

Now in the house we have:
4 people, (Mom, Dad, Me, & Nicky)
10 dogs, (Brandy, Kaley, Sage, Sadie, Auzzy, Alex, Sweety Pie, Echo, Riley, & Bear)
6 cats, (Bubby, Milo, Pride, Rowan, Grayson, & Gracy)
2 birds, (Morgan, & Kayden)
2 ferrets, (Kane, & Poppy )
1 fish. (Blacky)
