Does Peta hate dogs?

I love PETA because I am all about animal rights, but apparantly they euthenize 90% of the doggies they take in. I know that they wish we didn't have them as pets, as they are a man-made genetic creation from wolves, and can't take care of themselves without us. What to think? I don't know whether to love PETA or not!

I love animals but don't care much for PETA. I do have a certain amount of respect for their dedication. I just find the shock tactics hypocritical. Looks like I have more reason for feeling that way now! -

I believe animals should have rights but dogs are one of the gentliest animal out there so I am not a PETA fan!
