I am so worn out

Posted on 08/08/08, 05:34 am
Just feel like I can't take anymore -- I am so jealous of my ex husbands girlfriend and it's killing me - not to mention he will tell me about her and things they did I am just to anger me. He doesn't want to spend much time with his son now because of her and that is breaking my heart -- our son deserves so much better than that -- He is only 2 and has had open heart surgery and has been diagnosed with a progresssive connective tissue disorder. I don't get any child support from him but can't work because of my son's medical needs. I thought things would get easier with time but as of yet I can see that they don't.. Please offer any advice that you can.. A good book or something on divorce?

oh sweetie....try and keep conversation with him to just about your son so that he doesn't have the chance to tell you about his gf.

have you looked at the recommendation section on the main BU/D page? there might be something there that can help you

If I may ask, why are you not receiving any child support? It may just be me but I would push this issue. There are laws that enforce it.

As far as the jealousy is concerned you really just have to let him know you really don't want to talk about what he and his girlfriend do and discuss what your child needs.

    Best Wishes.

Well - I just found out that my ex husband is now getting remarried. I am in complete shock and upset. I am not gettiing child support because we have joint custody and they wouldn't award me any and now that I have my son more I just cant afford to take him back to court and hire a attorney -- it's totally a unfair situation and I feel like there is just no hope -- he is moving his new GF into my house because my name is still on the mortgage. In the divorce judegement the judge gave him 5 years but HELLO he is starting a new life and he can get his name off the mortgage NOW
