maria came out again.

dont know what to do. maria came out again yesturday....sort of freaked me out big time.
i need to surpress her somehow..help?

Hi there. I am sorry you are having issues with Maria. Why do you want to supress her? Is she dangerous? I really don't know how to supress alters. I hope you're ok. -

I've found that supressing alters is just another way to continue what was done as children. It works much better to open a dialogue and find out why they are acting like they are, and explain to them why it's not okay. Sometimes, alters don't realize that it's now 2008 and they don't need to do what they needed to do in the past. Once I explained that it isn't the past anymore and the person they fear isn't around anymore, the behavior changed. Perhaps you could try this too.
