"Run", I told him, "run now, run fast". But he stood there. "I'm not going anywhere". Fast forward. "I told you to run". "I'm still here, I'm not going anywhere". "Let me help you", he said, "let me be the one", "if you'll only let me". "You can't". Fast forward. "I can't take this anymore", he said. I understood. "I can't just stop loving you", he said. "Stop loving me!". "I can't love you the way you love me!".

"I'm about to hurt someone, again", I tell myself. "I told him to run".
