i am a warrior

I am a warrior.

I have chosen to walk this path today in search of that something I lost long ago.

I fight, not out of honour, nor for money or power. I fight because I must.

My opinion does not matter to a sword; my feelings are shattered by a bow.

My shield cannot protect my soul every time I look into the vacant eyes of those I have killed.

Fear is a puppeteer and my strings are constantly held tightly in its hand.

I am a warrior. I did not choose this life. It chose me.
