Has anyone had a hysterectomy to escape the effects of PCOS? If so how long was the recovery and were there any longterm side effects from the surgery. I am thinking of having a hysterectomy with an oorectomy to try to stop my symptoms. It seems the older I get the worse my symptoms get. Any advice is greatly appreciated.
