Generic Brands

Hi all,

Sometimes I go to a local dollar store for household products to save money and I always get a kick out of the generic brand names that closely resemble/knock-off the well known brands. A few I can think of are....

Cresent toothpaste=Crest
Fabuloso=Fantastick
LAs Totally Awesome carpet cleaner=Resolve, I think

Oh, one of the funniest one's I ever seen is a box of cereal called MUFFIN TOPS!

Can you think of any others?

  LOL Muffin tops, thats awesome. You should take a pic of that! I use the generic magic erasers.

  I just checked out the company who makes Muffin Tops cereal and they have a bunch more cereal knock offs...
  
  Cocoa Puffs are Coco Roos
  Corn Pops are Corn Bursts
  Frosted Mini-Wheats are Frosted Mini-Spooners
  Honey Comb is Honey Buzzers
  Lucky Charms are Marshmellow Mateys
  Cheerios are Scooters and yes they have Honey Nut Scooters as well.
  Fruit Loops are Tootie Fruities
  
  (I think a better name for the Lucky Charms would be Fortunate Baubles)

  cookie crisp- Kookie Krisp
  corn pops- Corn Nuggets
  Apple Jacks- Apple dapples

  i buy Wind-OH!= window cleaner ant the $1 store lol
  we also get Awesome! = zip-lock-like- bags
  and Crisp Rice= Rice crispies.
