Well I have a bed spread tha I have been working on for the last six months. It originally was a duvet which did not fit my bed, so I cut the underside piece in half and adapted the sides to make it long enough to drape. I then added material to the top, a large piece of material for a center square and batting and then strips of another material on the sides. I have the quilting left to do and have been putting it off because of the size and difficulty of arranging and maneuvering on a regular sewing machine. If I were to set down and just fight it I would have it completed in an afternoon, so I would estimate the middle of next week. Since I am out of town until Sunday evening.
Then I will complete the second bed spread I am working on. I got smarter with this one and only have to sew the layers together and I am tying this one rather then quilting. Hopefully, by next weekend it will be completed.

I hear from some that you get projects started and never find the time or energy to finish them. So here is the challenge. Share with us what the project is and put a deadline on how soon you think it should be finished. We will report back to each other and hopefully by completing something, we will encourage others to do the same. What do you think?
I will go first, I have a knitted material blanket in my closet that has been there since last fall. I am crocheting around the edges of it. The problem is the material is tough as nails and hard to push the hook through it. My arm gets tired working on it. I know that if I set my mind to it and stich with it I prob. could have it done in 3 to 4 hours time. So I will have it finished within three days from now.

This is a good idea! I've been working on a blanket for my oldest for quite a while. I can't remember when I started it, maybe earlier this year or late last year. It's about a third of the way done. I'm going to try to finish it within a month! Good luck to everyone else on your projects! :} -

I have a knitted hoodie 3/4 done for my almost 2 yo grandson that needs finishing before winter. i also have a knitted tuxedo for my newest grandson that only has the back of the sweater and part of the sleeves done. It needs pants and booties...plus the front of the sweater would be nice too. I'm giving myself until September to get them done in between projects. -

cathi, that really is a great project, what is a bio for your book mean? Like a biography that goes on the inside back cover that talks about the author? Is your book close to being published? Tell us more. -

Oh Bewitched you make me laugh, I think we are on an honor system and go at the pace we can. I did crochet some on the blanket today. I am anxious to see a picture of your chairs when they are done. It sounds so neat. -

Hey are there any more takers out there, willing to take on the challenge of finishing a project? I did crochet about 15 minutes yesterday. -
