A Scripture for each Day....

I have found these scriptures to be very helpful to crucify my flesh on this road of life to being healthy. I hope they will assist you too!
Day 1. Deut. 30:14 But the Word is very near you, in your mouth and in your mind, and in your heart, so that you can do it.
Day 2. Ps. 119:11 Your Word have I laid up in my heart that I might not sin against You.
Day 3. Isaiah 55:11 So shall My Word be that goes forth out of My mouth; it shall not return to Me void (without producing any effect, useless), but it shall accomplish that which I please and purpose and it shall prosper in the thing for which I sent it.
Day 4. Heb. 4:12 For the Word that God speaks is alive, is full of power (making it active, operative, energizing, and effective); it is sharper than any two-edged sword, penetrating to the dividing line of the breath of life (soul) and (the immortal) spirit, and of the joints and marrow (of the deepest parts of our nature), exposing and sifting and analyzing and judging the very thoughts and purposes of the heart.
Day 5. Heb. 4:16 Let us then fear-lessly and confidently and boldly draw near to the throne of grace (the throne of God’s unmerited favor to us sinners), that we may receive mercy (for our failures) and find grace to help in good time for every need (appropriate help and well-timed help, coming just when we need it).
Day 6. Prov. 28:13 He who covers his transgression will not prosper, but whoever confesses and forsakes his sins, He is faithful and just (true to His own nature and promises) and will forgive our sins (dismiss our lawlessness) and (continuously) cleanse us from all unrighteousness (everything not in conformity to His will in purpose, thought, and action).
Day 7. Rom 12:1 I appeal to you therefore brethren, and beg of you in view of (all) the mercies of God, to make a decisive dedication of your bodies (presenting all your members and faculties) as a living sacrifice, holy (devoted, consecrated) and well-pleasing to God, which is your reasonable (rational, intelligent) service and spiritual worship.
Day 8. Ps. 141:3 Set a guard, O Lord, before my mouth; keep watch at the door of my lips.
Day 9. II Tim. 1:7 For God did not give us a spirit of timidity (of cowardice, of craven and cringing and fawning fear), but (He has given us a spirit) of power, and of love, and of a calm, well-balanced mind, discipline, and self-control.
Day 10. I Cor. 9:27 But I discipline my body and bring it into subjection, lest when I have preached to others, I myself should become disqualified.
Day 11. II Cor. 7:1 Therefore, since these (great) promises are ours beloved, let us cleanse ourselves from everything that contaminates and defiles body and spirit and bring (our) consecration to completeness in the (reverential) fear of God.
Day 12. II Tim. 2:22 Shun youthful lusts and flee from them, and aim at and pursue righteousness (all that is virtuous and good, right living, conformity to the will of God in thought, word, and deed); and aim at and pursue faith, love, and peace (harmony and concord with others) in fellowship with all Christians, who call upon the Lord out of a pure heart.
Day 13. I Thess. 4:4 That each of you should know how to possess (control, manage) his own body in consecration (purity, separated from things profane) and honor.
Day 14. Rom. 13:13, 14 Let us live and conduct ourselves honorably and becomingly as in the (open light of) day, not in reveling (carousing) and drunkenness, not in immorality and debauchery (sensuality and licentiousness), not in quarreling and jealousy. But clothe yourself with the Lord Jesus Christ (the Messiah) and make no provision for (indulging) the flesh (put a stop to thinking about the evil cravings of your physical nature) to (gratify its) desires (lusts).
Day 15. Rom. 14:23 But the man who has doubts (misgivings, an uneasy conscience) about eating, and then eats (perhaps because of you), stands condemned (before God), because he is not true to his convictions and does not act from faith. For whatever does not originate and proceed from faith is sin (whatever is done without a conviction of its approval by God is sinful).
Day 16. II Pet. 2:9a The Lord knows how to deliver the godly out of temptations and to reserve the unjust under punishment for the day of judgment.
Day 17. I Cor. 10:31 Therefore, whether you eat or drink, or whatever you do, do all to the glory of God.
Day 18. Ps. 50:15 Call upon Me in the day of trouble; I will deliver you and you will glorify Me.
Day 19. Ps. 50:23 Whoever offers praise glorifies Me; and to him who orders his conversation aright, I will show the salvation of God.
Day 20. Eph. 6:11-13 Put on the whole armor of God that you may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this age, against spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places. Therefore, take up the whole armor of God, that you may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand.
Day 21. I Cor. 6:20 For you were bought with a price; therefore, glorify God in your body and in your spirit, which are God’s.
Day 22. Rom. 8:13 For if you live according to [the dictates of] the flesh, you will surely die. But if through the power of the [Holy] Spirit you are [habitually] putting to death (making extinct, deadening) the [evil] deeds prompted by the body, you shall [really and genuinely] live forever.
Day 23. III John 2 Beloved, I wish above all things that you may prosper and be in health, just as your soul prospers.
Day 24. I Cor. 15:57 But thanks be to God, who gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.
Day 25. Ps. 98:1 Oh, sing to the Lord a new song! For He has done marvelous things; His right hand and His holy arm have gained Him the victory.
Day 26. Prov. 2:10-11 When wisdom enters your heart, and knowledge is pleasant to your soul, discretion will preserve you, and understanding will keep you.
Day 27. Ps. 138:8 The Lord will perfect that which concerns me; Your mercy, O Lord, endures forever.
Day 28. John 10:10 The thief does not come except to steal, to kill, and to destroy. I (Jesus) have come that they may have life, and that they may have it more abundantly.
Day 29. James 1:22 But be doers of the Word and not hearers only, deceiving yourselves.
Day 30. James 4:7 Therefore submit to God. Resist the devil and he will flee from you. Gal. 5:1 Stand fast therefore in the liberty by which Christ has made us free, and do not be entangled again with a yoke of bondage.
Day 31. Philip. 4:13 I have strength for all things in Christ Who empowers me (I am ready for anything and equal to anything through Him Who empowers inner strength into me. I am self-sufficient in Christ’s own sufficiency).
Day 1. Deut. 30:14 But the Word is very near you, in your mouth and in your mind, and in your heart, so that you can do it.
Day 2. Ps. 119:11 Your Word have I laid up in my heart that I might not sin against You.
