Ive been given a stupidly long one by my english teacher, but i was just wondering if anybody else has many books they've promised themselves to read over the summer?

I have a huge list of books for uni I need to get through, I also promised myself I'd get round to reading some classics. I bought a few over the past months, As I Lay Dying and Lolita being the top of my list

I like Terry Pratchett too. If I'm reading a series like this. I always have another couple of books on the go. In case i get bored with the same kind of feel to a story, i usually pick something up completely different and then swap between them. Books like One flew over the cuckoos nest is fantastic, i couldn't put it down when i read it. I don't really have summer reading as such but i am reading Jasper FForde at mo, - Thursday Next series, love it. I've also started reading Van Gogh books and a Klimpt book. I suppose I tend to read these kind of books in the summer as i paint over the summer holidays - do this outside in the garden due to nicer weather, well sometimes, you know English summers.
