single mom who needs help

I am a 21 year old who is going to be a single mom in August. I have no one to support me. i need help.

Good luck to you. First thing - are there any agencies in your area that you can go to for help? Do you need financial, emotional, legal support? Are you working, and do you have health insurance? If not, or if your wages are low enough, you may be able to receive Health insurance through your State. Child support is something else that you may be able to receive (depends on the Dad, and the court systems, of course). Other agencies can help provide food, clothing, necessities and other items you may need.

As for emotional support - I understand. I am a single mom of three, and my family is NOT at all supportive. What friends I had are now gone because of my life situation (two disabled kids). I, too, am looking for emotional support. I hope we find it here.

I am a single dad.I am 53 and to top it off I am a above the knee amputee so what do you need to know?

I'm so sorry that you don't have anyone for support during this time. I am a single mom also. It's not easy but if you need someone to talk to just call on me. I know how scary this is but remember it is also the most satisfying and thrilling. Being a mom is the most important job on earth. You can add me as a friend if you like. im 28 single mom one eight year old daughter. I have raised her myself all of these years pretty much, ive been where you are, her father walked on us when i was two months pregnant. Def go to your local DSS and apply for medicaid, foostamps ect and they can get you on WIC and get you child support services as well. Hang in there, if you need someone to talk to im here. Blessings

hey sweety im a 22yo with 3girls my first was to a man who took off literally 10 minutes after i told him,first thing dont stress its not good 4 u or the baby your worring 2much im sure youl b a fantastic mum they dont come with manuals though just take one day at a time im sure there would b a pre-natel group for young mums ask your midwife shell help u,midwifes there great if u need nething else just ask good luck but im sure u wont need its scary being pregnant and alone but once u c your beautiful baby ull be alot stronger i know i was!xx
