I don't know what to do. Today was my tenth week of treatment, and even though it's getting better bit by bit, I feel so hopeless. Every Tuesday, I have to take work off and go to my doctor and it sucks. I've been ok with things until now. I haven't had a breakdown, there's been no blame, I kept thinking 'this will get better and I'll be fine'.. But I can't do it anymore. I just want to yell at someone for this. I know it's my fault too, but I just want to yell at whoever gave it to me. I don't blame my boyfriend at all.. He was really supportive when I told him and came with me to some of my appointments, but he doesn't seem to even remember or care that I'm going through this and I need him. I know that sounds selfish which is why I haven't said it since this happened, but now I really need someone.. I feel so alone. I hate myself for this and I've become so depressed that I don't want to get out of bed. I don't know what advice I need. I just need something. Someone please help. I don't know what to do anymore. I want to give up. I just want to run away and not think about any of this anymore. I feel like my life is ruined. My walls feel like they're closing in on me and I can't take anymore. please, someone help..

" Hello,

I want you to know that your name on this site couldn't be more wrong! Hopeless and Alone? None of us are hopeless and alone! I know we all start off that way, feeling disgusted and ashamed. Feeling like you are the only one with HPV and that no one else in the entire world will ever want anything to do with you. Trust me, it gets better, and easier to cope with. You are so not alone. There are so many thousands of us who all share this epidemic, this common infection that has brought so much grief to so many lives. It did for me, and still does but not nearly as much as before. Since I've been on this site I've really come around, there is still hope, there is still a shot at finding someone. There are people out there who will understand. There are more people than you could possibly imagine who share this. You will get better, you will get through this. Try to think positively. Try to eliminate stress in your life. Negative feelings and stress will do nothing for your recovery. You are still dealing with the shame and embarrassment of having HPV, once your treatments start going well you will find it much easier to cope with this.

Trust me when I say, you are not alone. You are not hopeless. Every single person on this site is here because we want support, we want to be cheered on, we want to be encouraged. And that is exactly what we all do for eachother! We are like a big family and we are all here to support one another. You can always rely on me, and all of us for support and motivation. Keep up with your treatments, keep being strong. You will beat this!

Ryan "

" There is nothing wrong with you because you face moments of weakness. It makes you human. Dealing with HPV is hard. Bottom line. What you need to hear is that there is hope for recovery. Reach for it. It's there for you. "

" HPV is not forever. So yes there is hope. I alot of memembers on here say it is others say it isn't. Well it is not forever. There is alot of hope. Keep working thru your treatments stay on top of your appts and you will eventually rid the virus. The reason why alot of HPV comes back because of other reasons that are failed to be mentioned. Like smoking, other STDs, weakened immune systems. 1 ouf of 3 people have HPV. It's emotional but not the end of the world!! Hang in there...Lots of hugs. missy "

" YOU WILL GET THRU THIS. GET YOUR TREATMENTS THATS YOUR PRIORITY. NOT SURE WHY YOU NEED TO GO EVERYWEEK? YOU MIGHT WANT TO CHANGE DR'S.
JUST LIKE RYAN SAID WHERE ALL IN THIS TOGETHER AND WHERE HERE FOR EACH OTHER.THE FIRST COUPLE YEARS AE THE HARDEST. YOU NEED TO FIND THE MOST AGGRESSIVE TREATMENT
OUT THERE. TAKE 1 DAY AT A TIME. TAKE CARE OF YOUR HEALTH FROM THIS POINT ONWARD. AVOID ALL ALCOHOL AND
SMOKING WHICH WILL BRING BACK THE HPV AND
THENSOME. GET PLENTY OF SLEEP. EAT GOOD NUTITIOUS FOOD AS WELL. YOU COULD DO IT.
STAY POSITIVE. WE ALL HAVE TO DEAL WITH IT IN SOME WAY OR ANOTHER. WE ALL NEED
TO BE THANKFULL FOR LIFE IN GENERAL.EVERYDAY YOU WAKE UP PAIN FREE SAY
THANK G-D. WISHING YOU STRENGHT/PEACE/HOPE.

" Alcohol does not bring out HPV, smoking does. I asked my gyno this question. He specializes in HPV infections.
So a glass of wine will not bring the HPV out. That is silly. "
