			<description><![CDATA[My experience is that cognitive-behavioral therapy in schizophrenics works best when combined with proper medication.  Without the medication to fix the chemical aspects it may be very difficult to get the most that you can out of the therapy.]]></description>

I think the thing about it that has helped me the most has been <a href="http://dailystrength.org/treatments/Research" onclick="treatmentHotLink('http://dailystrength.org/treatments/Research')" class="treatmentlink" title="Learn more about Learning">learning</a> to be aware of my thought processes and how easy it is to let negative thinking cause negative behavior.]]></description>

			<description><![CDATA[my doc says that the meds arent designed to take away tyhe voices. They just help me to deal with them better. 
  
 I guess I have come to terms with having them, I think I will always have them. But I do <a href="http://dailystrength.org/treatments/Cognitive_Behavioral_Therapy" onclick="treatmentHotLink('http://dailystrength.org/treatments/Cognitive_Behavioral_Therapy')" class="treatmentlink" title="Learn more about Cbt">CBT</a> as well as having meds and I find it quite helpful most of the time.]]></description>

			<description><![CDATA[Lastephopen Thats the first time I have been told by anyone that the meds are not going to take my voices away. No doctor has every said you will never lose the voices. 
 So how do they help you deal with them? By making you less stressed? 
 At present I take sleeping tablets and if I get too stressed...]]></description>
