			<description><![CDATA[i have had a peustow procedure. this is when they go in and fillet the pancreas, opening up the pancreatic duct, cleaning out as much calcification as possible and then sewing the pancreatic duct to the part of the large intestine to aid in digestive juice flow.

I was injured playing college softball.  The <a href="http://dailystrength.org/treatments/Surgery" onclick="treatmentHotLink('http://dailystrength.org/treatments/Surgery')" class="treatmentlink" title="Learn more about Surgery">surgery</a> was really painful... the surgeon removed 70%.  Many docs have said that the pancreas is the most painful organ (when injured)!!  I believe it.]]></description>

			<description><![CDATA[Cindy my brother in law has had surgury about 8 times. He is fine for awhile then it seems a duct gets blocked and he is right back in the hospital. This seems to happen about every 8 to nine months. He is fine within a couple days after.]]></description>

I am doing very well.  I have to eat in smaller amounts and some fatty foods still bother a little.  I saw my surgeon recently, and he said that both of those things will get better in a couple months.]]></description>
