			<description><![CDATA[I was scheduled in 2002 to have the <a href="http://dailystrength.org/treatments/Surgery" onclick="treatmentHotLink('http://dailystrength.org/treatments/Surgery')" class="treatmentlink" title="Learn more about Surgery">surgery</a>, which would remove the esophagus and attach the stomach to the throat.  Sveral people told me that if I had this it would mean that any future reflux could cause a spill over into the lung, causing it to collapse.

The chemo was once a week for four months.
