It is not often that I check with Daily Strength.......but today is one of those days! When I read your journal and see you strength it helps me put my little problems into perspective. My Dad now deceased (heart problems) suffered from Alzheimers. I look back now and question whether he showed symptoms as early as aged 55 but as I live on a island with no resources available at that point, we knew little! With the help of an exerienced nurse we tried to form a group 5 years ago but found it very difficult for care-givers to attend. We do not have an association, and are trying to find a way we can help the community and begin with something small to be there for other families. If you have any suggestions of your experience and how you have benefited from help outside of the home could you share them with me? I think it is wonderful that you are able to stay focused on keeping as active as you can with your weaving, and wonderful that you have family to support you. Try and stay strong and focused.
