I'm going to see my RE tomorrow for the post IUI visit. I'm PRAYING that my follicles aren't there anymore to give me hope for a BFP. My brain tells me that I might end with a BFP but my heart is telling me no....I guess to protect myself from disappointment again. Anyway...it's crazy how much more relaxed I am this cycle. Wow...I think this is the most I've utilized this journal. It feels good to get my feelings out. After reading some stuff online, I'm not feeling defeated about my temp only slightly rising. I've read online a few things...(1) temps rising doesn't necessarily occur in one day, but a rising slope can indicate ovulation (2) temps sometimes take 1-2 days AFTER ovulation to rise. If t...

I called my RE and they told me not to worry...to continue taking my temp and bring that in during my follow-up visit on Thursday. I will get an U/S then and can see if the follicles ruptured. I'm hanging in there but I can't help to have moments of defeat arise....
Nothing seems to be easy....

I'm feeling slightly defeated this morning. My temp didn't go up this morning as expected. It;s gone up only .2 degrees.....I don't understand because I had great CM and felt pinching on my left ovary yesterday...is it still possible that I ovulated? I feel like I should already throw in the towel and expect AF in 12-14 days. Should I call my RE? I just don't know what to do....an...

My temp has risen from the HCG shot given to me on Friday afternoon. I am slightly concerned....keeping my fingers cross that it will show up tomorrow and I will ovulate today just in time for my 2nd IUI.

I went to my RE today and he confirmed that I have 2 mature follicles on my left ovary (really great since that one has been inactive for quite some time) and my estrogen levels are at 520 which is good for only having 2 follicles. I got my trigger shot at the full dosage (10,000cc) instead of 1/2 like last time since there isn't sign of hyperstimulation. We go in tom...

I go to the RE tomorrow at 12:15pm to check the growth of my follicles. On Monday, he thought I had about 2-3 potentials so I'm keeping my fingers crossed that they've gotten larger & we can move on to the fun part...If so, we're looking at an IUI on Saturday & Sunday and then BDing for a few days (can't hurt right?).

I went to the RE today to check to follicle growth. My DH surprised me again and showed up to the appointment. He is so supportive! Just as I suspected, I only have 2-3 follicles that are showing signs of growth. I started my shots a little early (as the doctor said) so I will go back on Friday (11 days of 50iu of Follistim) to check the sizes. Hopefully they will be mature and we can do our IUI ...

Yesterday was shot #5 and I was submerged in tears all day. I cried in the car to the RE (had to go pick up extra meds) and then back to work. While I was at work...I had to hold back the tears at least 12 times. I also had this permanent knot in my throat like I was going to throw up.
Luckily I woke up today feeling better but I hope I don't cry a lot at the wedding I am going to tonight. An...

I decided to call my RE this morning because I've been spotting for a few days and I still have BCP left (tonight is last night) but I didn't want to get stuck over the holiday weekend w/ my period and no RE to see. So I went in this afternoon and..................

Wilm's Tumor Information

Wilm's tumor is a neoplasm of the kidneys that typically occurs in children. It is also known as a nephroblastoma. Approximately 500 cases are diagnosed in the U.S. annually. The majority (75%) occur in otherwise normal children; a minority (25%) is associated with other developmental abnormalities.

Wilms tumor can affect any child regardless of race, sex, country of origin, or parental occupation. The disease is mostly noticed around age three, but has been recorded in people at the age of 21. Most cases begin with experience of the following symptoms: Abdominial mass, Blood in the urine, Fever, and less frequently anorexia, vomiting, and malaise
