Don't know where to go or what to do since I lost my husband 15 months ago. Was doing things last summer but now i've been going downhill and doing nothing? Friends and family are all busy. How can I start over?

" Its been 17 months for me and I have started over so many times I have lost count. I have a few favorite books and when I am in reverse yet again I get them out and reread them. There are many good ones. My favorite is "Widow to Widow". I hate using the word normal because I have not felt normal in 17 months but I think its common in grief to repeat the steps many times. I try to get up everyday with the attitude that maybe this is the day that I start fresh...I am stubborn. "

" You are probably having a backset for a little while. Go easy on yourself and then decide what activities/hobbies or something you just
always wanted to do. This is not the life we
thought we would be living, but know they would want us to be happy when we can.
I have been having couple of down days, where everyone keeps wondering why I am quiet, but figure it will pass. I read a lot.
Pick up this and then that book about grief
or widowhood. Try to get out of it what I can and leave the rest.
Take care of you
Linde "
