Somehow people continue to convince themselves that only the insurgents, terrorists, Al Qaida, or generally "bad" people suffer as a result of war... like somehow, before engaging with the enemy, all the women and children are whisked away to some safe haven somewhere.
In reality: Everyone is affected adversely by war.
