I would say..there are radicals in every faith. This is an extreemly diffrent war...how do we differ peace loving Muslims from actuall terrorist? Muslims are loving people who have strong family beliefs and great community ties! Its like the saying a few bad apples spoil the whole bunch. same with christains..look at the friggen preist molesting thing. The preachers who cheat with whores then forbid it to their congragation. Uhh..Im sorry I ramble when im sleepy.

How do you explain the rash of killings since 1989 of daughters by Muslim fathers and mothers, here in the US, because the fathers do not want their daughters to date outside their "FAITH"... There have been reports of mothers even taking part in these killings along with the fathers.

Sounds to me a ?FAITH? that allows parents to murder children, works outside the parameters of ANY GOD or LOGICAL RELIGION.

Islam is no better than any other religion, and no worse. The question isn't whether one is better, more true, or more peaceful and loving. The problem ALWAYS arises when fundamentalists, and zealots highjack a religion. We have nothing to fear from moderate Islam, only from highjackers of the faith, or any faith for that matter.

Jayman, I liked your response so let me say that I'm not anti-muslim or against anyone's particular religion or religous holy books or artifacts.

I merely point out that there are those of the muslim faith that believe in every word of the Koran and/or what Mohammad said or how he lived. These are the radical fundamentalists I have the problem with. (as do I with any fundamentalist religion whose basic beliefs instruct their followers that their way is the ONLY way and there is no room for any debate or tolerance of other religions or beliefs).

I do believe that since at this time in history it is the radical muslims who are terrorising the world killing innocent people, m, we need to be diligent in our efforts to eradicate this 'cancer' from the body of Islam community at large.
Moderate muslims need to stand up and be counted in this fight against these radical Islamists who not only threaten our way of life but theirs as well.

Why don't the peace-loving Muslims do something?
Can't they communicate with the Radicals and inspire them not to be so over-bearing and forcfull?
Can't the moderates take a stand against the radicals and use Islamic Rule against them as well?
If Islam is such a PEACEFUL religion.. why do the members of the Faith come across as tyrants and force their beliefs on innocent people who may not even want to believe in such a religion.
I am Christian, I know about other Christian Religions, none of the other Religions threatened me to join their particular church.. I was free to join any church of MY CHOICE.

When a So-called Religion FORCES people to do something or live according to absurd rules like killing another human being.. I don't think of it as a religion.. I think of it as a terror gang.
