I was diagnosed with vestibulitis last year and I never really thought about it other than it was an irritated labia. I know it's not cancer, but is it the same thing? I'm just beginning to research b/c the more pain I have, the more the doc talks about it. can anyone help me distinguish between the two???

" There's a group on Facebook (www.facebook.com) called
Vulvodynia Support at
http://www.facebook.com/group.php?...
that has links to some vulvodynia sources of information on the internet.
An article in Wikipedia says "Localized, vulvodynia in the vestibular region is referred to as vulvar vestibulitis and also vestibulodynia".
Cheers,
Ed. "
