My grandson was recently diagnosed with Vitiligo. This condition runs in our family but with his it is only in places where there has been trauma to the skin.
Does anyone know if it will continue to only develop in areas where there is trauma or will it join together to form big patches? Any advice or treatment recommendations will be appreciated. Thank you, MawBear Posted on 08/27/08, 09:08 am |

mine first started with white circles around moles, but then grew on my face. It then grew in spots that I got sunburnt and would keep growing and join up to make big spots.

Vitiligo is a pigmentation disorder in the human skin. The human skin contains special skin cells (melanocytes) that produce the pigment melanin which colors the skin.
Vitiligo spot can be improve even during the treatment. But as reported by http://www.antivitiligo.com/vitili... when vitiligo is in earlier stage it is more is to cure it.
