Hello,
I have spend the last year completely addicted to Second Life. I have now quite cold turkey - deleted my account, trashed my online friends, etc. I was online 4-5 hours per day and it dominated all my waking thoughts. I know a bit about addiction - enough to know I am addicted. I am now trying to rescue myself from the wreckage and havoc this addiction wrought. First i need to forgive myself. I am not a bad person or a fuckup. I have been ill for a very long time and i now need to recover. Has anyone else any experience or thoughts around this or other games? First post I've seen about Second Life! When I first discovered SL I was on it all the time too, but I got tired of it after a couple of months. I still get on for a couple of hours a week, as I have a little shop to maintain, but that's it for me.
