Perhaps you are right (although, note, that I have never even played World of Warcraft). However, it is most likely just due to the relatively small community here in this group so far.

The reason it's slow is because the people that have the comupters most of the time are playing their perfered games, this also doesn't leave much for their partners to post cause they can never get on them. I'm lucky that I bought my BF a computer so I didn't have to share. I was getting no down time at all.

just saw a DS advert for wow gold.. thats quite funny. I stopped for 5 or 6 months with wow now im playing again. I've got it under better control but stil not the best. considering typing a random parental control password.. to stop myself playing too late at night and perhaps also during the day.
If I can't get it under control i'll most likely try to quit it again.

Quitting for me didn't work the first time. I felt like after a few months that I could "handle" it again. Things started out okay for quite a while. But eventually, grinding and pvp and doing the casual things in wow stopped being fun. I went back to end-game and that was all she wrote.
That went another year and a half. What did it cost me? My marriage of 13 years, my kids, my house, my life. I lost it all to a goddamned game. I guess it's not all bad...now that I live alone, with no one to talk to or share life with...I finally quit the game. Ironic, eh? I deleted all of my toons. It's the best thing I ever did. I will never play another MMORPG again in my life.

dmarsh, I am sorry to hear about what you lost due to playing but at least you have quit now. Good luck in staying away from MMORPG's and any other games that you cannot handle.
As for the original post regarding how little activity there is here, this group is hardly the only one with that apparent problem. For example, I am also a member of Procrastinators Unite. The person in charge of that group had the same lament. Of course, considering the nature of procrastination, that should not be too surprising, unless somebody is using posting as a procrastination method.

Nah for me although I played this game and was addicted to it. It was discoverd that it was a symptom and not the root. Also I have found that my time here has not made as much a diffrence then it has in other areas. I am always here to help but I found it not as rewarding to troll this forum as much.
