i am addicted to counter-strike, and online poker, its not a bad addiction i guess, well i mean the poker its not like im losing i make money off it, but counter strike, i think you know your addicted to a game when you sit there raging and yelling because you just died, or when you stay up for 4days in a row just playing the same game over and over, but thats why i don't play those stupid role playing games now, but i guess id play diablo 3 if it was 2 ever be released, i saw world of warcraft looked like shit and i knew it would take ages 2 get good items and shit so i stayed away plus the whole pay 2 play bullshit kind of put me off lol

My "drugs" of choice are just regular PC video games, in particular 3-D Pinball and Minesweeper that comes with Windows. I have never played any console games and I have only tried a few on-line ones (but not on-line poker), with Tetris and Othello being the 2 that I have played the most.
Everyone is somewhat different regarding their reaction to video games but I know that I am quite easily addicted to them in general. As such, although I have never tried any MMORPG like WoW, I don't think that I will ever considering how many stories of their high addiction potential (and the associated heartbreak) that I have read.

Hey! I feel all of your pain. My current addiction is the new rpg Mass Effect. I hate it and love it all at the same time and I can't stop playing it. I play it every day! But that's nothing new! Even now I can't stop thinking, "I really want to play that game right now!".

Halo 1, 2, and 3...Up till 6AM playing on LIVE, if I can get to it.
Up till 4AM playing normal Halo 1 or 2. Then when I get up? Gotta have at least six to seven games before going out. Can't stop playing it, it's to the point where Legendary is like "Normal" play for me. On ANY of the games.. Even have to start new files and I can go through Easy.. In a matter of 1-1 and 1/2 hours. On any of the games. Gotta have my Halo, lol. Yeah, Sara, that's a good question. what is up with WoW? I mean I know it's addicting, but I don't think I quite understand it, is it as addicting as that Everquest stuff? I heard that's pretty bad.
