this world of warcraft game that so many r addicted 2 is really pissing me off my husband plays the crap 24/7 wen he is not at work or wen he is sleeping... he wont even eat dinner or watch some tv or a movie with me, he tells me wot goes on in his game and i sit there thinking "like i give a fucking shit about wot u do on there" its ruining my marriage i feel unappreciated and depressed the point of this topic is r u willing 2 lose ur marriage, ur partner, ur family 4 some stupid game or will u ever shape the hell up and get rid of it?

you have the right idea girly. That is the only way to be. Your husband will continue to play until he gets a reality check in to the real world where things like that matter. I dealt with this addiction for awhile and I tell you what, made me nuts in the head.

Omg, I'm about to cry!! I feel as though " thank god I'm not the only one!!! " Believe me I'm not pround saying it though cause this obssesion is getting out of hand. My bf plays LOTR on line which is the same as WOW. He does the same thing, doesn't talk about anything in the real world, but will have a whole conversation about the game, as you said like I give a shit. I'd rather hear about his toilet habits right now that hear anoth word about that stupid game!! I loved it when the server went down cause we finally got to spend time together, but hell why should I have to wait for a server to go down. Why should we live around these stupid games.
What's worse is I got him the game and now his father ( who we live with ) has it too. We were meant to go to the movies, but that was like 3 weeks ago and the game and the the ppl playing are more of a priority!! Sorry to hear about your situation, I love my bf more than anything but atleast it's easier for me to leave and I'd have to say everyday it's a lil closer!! Hang in there!!

I am not married but my 16 yo son is ADDICTED! WOW and CS (CounterStrike) consume his waking hours. I feel your frustration -- abviously I have a little more control over my son than you do over your grown up husband. :) In the beginning it was kinda nice to have him "entertained" and it gave me a break. now it is a be careful what you wish for, cuz I never see him except for 20-30 mins for dinner. I know that computers is his passion and he wants to do gaming programming BUT enough is enough. With my health issues that I have and it just being the two of us, this is a battle I do not have the daily energy to fight.... hence..... inconsistency rules and screws me every time. This isn't too much of a consolation but I am grateful that my son is home. He isn't hanging out and getting into trouble. drugs, drinking or anything else that teenagers do for entertainment. There has to be a balance.....wish me luck on finding it..
