I have been told to wear support tights, so they wont ache so much, but I cant bear to wear these.....I suppose I have no alternative? any other ways to get rid of these, other than surgery?

elevating my feet above my heart when i sleep or when i'm sitting down and doing nothing. that helped me...the pain lessened in my thigh....and the vein was less noticable....

I read about a lasar procedure but havent researched it that much, Might be a good thing to GOOGLE.

You can have a vein stripping, but unless you wear compression hose they'll come back, maybe gradually but definitely especially if you have a bad case.
The black & navy are just like tights. They don't look bad. Basically winter is easy; summer is hard. Also, summer is when they get worse from swelling in the heat.

I am wearing nude colored knee highs. They are tight, and are getting hot, but I was told I had to wear them even sitting in recliner with legs way up. Summer is going to be a pain, as now I can't wear shorts. Actually, they don't look too bad with Capri's.
