My mom was diagnosed w/ stage 4 uterine cancer in March 2007. She had 2 rounds of chemo but that didn't work too well. She also had 10 radiation treatments to the uterus, pelvic bone and tailbone. She has been taking megace, a hormonal treatment since April and she is doing very good. Her lung tumors are shrinking and the pelvic bone tumor is also shrinking. She will have another set of scans next week. We pray that the cancer is continuing to disappear. She feels good, and lives her life nearly the same as she did before cancer, although she tires easily. We think she is doing great and have much hope that she is going to be okay. My mom is very positive and has a very positive attitude. Please share anything you know about stage 4 uterine cancer.

I found this site. It has stories by the people who wrote them and Uterine cancer. Maybe you could find something there. But each persons cancer is unique to that person. No one has the "same" kind of cancer. It may be located in the same place as someone else, but each of us responds uniquely. My best to you and your mom and family.

Keep us up on everything that is happening. I have taken care of people with cancer. Each person was so different in their responses and their attitudes. Let us know how "you" are feeling about the experiences, take care of you or you won't be of any help to your mom, you are important to her. Hope to hear from you soon. I have been both caretaker of cancer patients and also a patient of Cervical and Uterine Cancers. If I can say so, God Bless.

Hello All,
I just recieved 2 updates regarding my mom and I'm not certain if they are meant for me or for Jennov. If they are meant for me, thank you very much for your caring and supportive words. My mother is still doing well. She was very tired yesterday and in bed most of the day...which is a first for her since she stopped the chemo and radiation back in May. She also had her 8 week scans this morning. We meet with the doctor this Friday. I am doing okay, thank you. It has been such a difficult 7 months, but we feel grateful to have had more good days than bad. My mother has an incredibly positive attitude. I pray daily, I have wonderful friends and a very supportive father and I have hope. I don't know how we are all getting through the days, especially my mother, but we are. We must have hope. Thank you for your support

I think the replies are for us all. The encouragement is for us all. I don't know how the moms are doing it. I had enough trouble with just having the cancer and the surgery, I have not had to have radiation or chemo as of yet. We need each other in this . . . and all or our words are hands holding onto each other at this time . . . scarlet25 is helping jennov and reading your posts is helping me. God Bless and lots of strength to you. Keep us posted . . .

Yes, I agree. I think that all we can do for each other is to be here for each other. Sharing our stories can only help. All of you are in my prayers. Sending you love, hugs and healing thoughts.

TO ALL! i appreciate all the help and support That everyone is giving me! I will keep all posted as for my mom's happenings. She is a very positive person but HER BIGGEST fear is getting sick. She doesn't care if she loses every hair she doesn't want to get sick. I spoke to her last night and so far so good. She was givin in her iv some preventative medicine as well as a script when that wears off. I spoke to her last night and she is doing good! We have to keep eye on her blood pressure though. She used to have to take medicine for high blood pressure for her normal used to be like 130 over like 84 with her medicine. The day before chemo it was 105 over 68. The day of chemo, at times it was 96 over 58 yikes!
she was takin off some of her high blood pressure medicine. so yes we are watching that. over all so far so good.
Thanks to all and BIG HUGS
