I guess I am new to this sort of thing. My only treatment was hysterectomy, but what purpose would other treatments have on a uterus. Would it be for someone younger or for someone whose cancer has spread outside of the uterus?

i had a total hystectomy and they said they had to take part of my cervix.because it got out of my uterus before they caught it.and i had to have radiation to make sure to kill anyother cells that might be around.and they have told me that so far it has worked.
