I am having surgery next Monday, Aug 20th.
It is called: INTERSTIM THERAPY FOR UNINARY CONTROL. I was able to get the 'test run' July 10th. It went very well.
Well, here is the bad part. My husband passed away July 13, 2007. He had terminal COPD. He wanted me to have the surgery so that it would
help my quality of life.
This surgery is rather new where I live.
I am from Arkansas. There are only two Urologists that do it here. The Surgery has been done on the East and West Coasts for 6 or 7 years.
My Urologist is from California and has done quite a few of them. He said that there are great results with the surgery.
Also, this surgry has an implant in a hip and leads in the back.
