I guess I have both.
I can remember having problems with the stress type most of my life. I was in and out of the hospital when I was 11-14 due to UTI's and was told after just about every test that I had an
“Immature” Urinary Tract.
For quit a few years I didn’t have problems with the UTI but still had to watch for incontinence.
The stress incontinence problem became worst after each of my 2 sons were born. But I feel like I lost all control at all when I had my hysterectomy in 2002.
Now I have horrible bladder spasms and most days have to were a pad if I am going to be out.

I have stress incontinence which I am getting surgery for in May.

I was told I had an overactive bladder and then I was given a test and told I have a weak urinary track and it needs support. I can't remember exactly after I heard the word surgery.
Mine was horrible after my hysterectomy in 2002.
I am on medication for a bladder infection: Ciprofloxacin 500 mg 2 times a day. It works great.
I just wish I could find a daily pill I could take every day but nothing has worked.

I have stress incontinence. Started after childbirth and has increased with weight gain. Feel like i have a bladder infection trying to take hold (within the pastweek) and with my symptoms may have a moderate case of prolapsed bladder. pushing the fluids, stopped caffeine consumption and added cranberry juice. debating on calling doctor tomorrow about this due to poss. UTI. this is so much fun NOT.

ya i also keep getting tested done because i cant pee most of the time and it bugs me alot and i also get stuff that keeps coming on my underwear and i keep having to change them because he feels weird when i still wear them.

I had bladder cancer. After surgery i start having Urge Incontinence. I have to run to the bathroom.
Many a times I have to chance my underware.Cancer is gone, thank God.

HELLO EVERYONE, IM NEW HERE,LOOKING FOR SOMEONE TO LISTEN AND ADVICE.I HAVE STREES,URGE AND OTHER KINDS. I HAVE HAD WETTING PROBLEMS MOST OF MY LIFE. UP TILL I WAS 11 OR 12 IT WAS ALL THE TIME,MOM LET ME USE DIAPERS WHEN EVER I WANTED TO. SHE TOOK ME TO SEE SOME DOCTORS BUT THEY ALL SAID THAT I WAS FINE. WHEN I TURNED 15 IT SLOWED DOWN BUT DID'NT STOP. FOR THE LAST 10 YEARS I HAD A FEW ACCEDENTS A YEAR BUT NOTHING LIKE I WAS BEFOR,SO I DIDNT THINK MUCH OF IT,IT WAS MANLY AT NIGHT. LAST YEAR I HIT A DEER ON MY MOTORCYCLE AT 55MPH. TO SAY THE LEAST I WAS BANGED UP PERTTY BAD. BUT GUESS WHAT IT STARTED ALL OVER AGAIN,24/7 WETTING. THE ACCEDENT MESSED UP MY KIDNEYS,BLADDER AND MY BACK. i TOOK MEDS FOR A BIT BUT NOTHING HELPED ME. THE THREE DOCTORS THAT I SAW SAID THAT THERE WASNT REALY ANYTHING THAT COULD BE DONE EXSEPT SURGERY,AND THEY DIDNT KNOW IF IT WOULD HELP OR NOT. SO I DIDNT DO HAVE IT DONE. SO I JUST STARTED WAREING DIAPERS 24/7 AGAIN,SO I COULD GO OUT IN PUBLIC AND NOT REALLY HAVE TO WORRY THAT MUCH. ONE TIME WHEN IT STARTED UP AGAIN AFTER THE MOTORCYCLE ACC. I WAS AT THE MALL WALKING AROUND AND BOOM, RIGHT THERE IN FRONT OF I DONT KNOW HOW MANY PEOPLE,I JUST LET FLY. AT FIRST I DIDNT KNOW CUZ I HAD ROAD RASH ON MY LEGS WITH SPLINTS AND CRUCHES,BUT IT TOOK ABOUT TWO MINS FOR MY MOM TO ASK IF I WANTED TO LEAVE? I SAID NO WHY? NOT KNOWING WHY PEOPLE WHERE LOOKING,LAUGHING AND POINTING AT ME. SHE SAID WITH THIS IM SORRY LOOK ON HER FACE,LOOK DOWN,SHE NO MORE THEN SAID THAT AND I FELT IT,YUP I HAD JUST PEED MY PANTS. WELL I WENT TO THE CAR RIGHT AWAY,SHE STAYED AND BOUGHT ME COME DRY CLOTHS THE WHARE HOME. THE MOST HUMMLIATING THING WAS ON THE RIDE HOME I HAD TO ASK HER TO STOP AT WALGREENS AND PICK ME UP SOME DIAPERS. WELL SHE DID,AND EVER SENCE THEN I HAVE USED THEM NONE STOP. aND TO THIS DAY WHEN EVER I HAVE AN ACCEDENT I STILL HAVE NO FELLING WHEN IT HAPPENS OTHER THEN FELLING OF WORM PEE. I DID BY THE WAY LOOSE MY GIRL FRIEND OF 5 YEARS BECAUSE SHE COULDNT SLEEP NEXT TO SOMEONE WHO HAD TO USE DIAPERS AT NIGHT,SO WHAT DO YOU SAY TO THAT? WASNT MUCH I COULD SAY...SO THATS MY WHOLE STORY,IM NEW TO THIS GROUP. ONLY MY MOM KNOWS AND MY EX,BUT ITS HARD TO DEAL WITH ALONE. IM JUST LOOKING FOR SOMEONE TO TALK TO.

Would Urge Incontinence explain why whenever I go outfor a lenght of time, when coming home, as soon as I pull into the driveway, I feel the need to urinate come upon me?I mean, I have to go bad.

I have stress incontinence on and off. It gets worse before and after my period. I wear a pad 90% of the time, to stay dry, but I have to be careful because I am prone to infection. The only time I do not leak at all is at night when I am sleeping. (No stress, I guess) But even walking around can make me leak a little. I'm only 31 and am sick of the embarassment. I don't care if the whole world knows anymore.
