Does any one have twins that are in the 9 yr. old age range? My twins are boys. They are best friends. They do excellent in school and love to play sports. One plays drums the other plays piano and is starting guitar lessons in Sept. They have an older sis who is 12. Sometimes My daughter and my boys get along sometimes they annoy each other. There are alot of people just preg or with new born twins. Lucky them but I am glad to have a life now!

I'm glad you're here! I am a mom of new twin girls (8mos)SO it'll be nice to hear from someone who's been there and done that! Sorry I won't have much input for you on the other hand!

Hi Miranda,
I am a mom of (much) older twins. My identical girls are 26 and mothers themselves.I also have a singleton daughter that is 22. My girls never really got along. The twins never needed anyone else, just each other. My younger girl grew up asking "Mommy, where is my twin?" Had I to do it over again, I would have had another child when my youngest was about 2 to give her a playmate. My twins are still best friends even though one has moved 2000 miles away from us.They talk everyday and text each other at least 10 times a day. Take care, Deb

I have 9 year old twin girls, and they are at the stage where one minute they hate each other and the next, love again.I think it's all about getting that individuality. Thay are very very different in personality but would still not be without each other.
Nice to see someone with older twins and not just babies!
