I know in 7 days my boys will be born and I know this sounds weird but I think I will get more sleep then . I am up once or twice an hour to pee then my belly hurts so bad I stay up for 2 to 3 hrs so I am getting no sleep what so ever. Has any one felt this way or am I delusional!!!! The doc says they will be over 7 lbs and I am measuring now at 48 weeks!!! I am at the point where I don't make sense to people because I babble! I am happy that they will be at term but they are so big my body has had enough!!!!At least maybe the sleep I will be getting as little as it will be will be comfortable.

" Congratulations on carrying them this far! That's absolutely wonderful! I understand how you feel. I didn't carry mine to term, but I definetly was not getting any sleep the last trimester, because I always had to pee..lol and I was so uncomfortable. This is going to sound crazy but after I had my c-section I was glad I had a catheter in because I thought great now I can sleep and not have to worry about getting up to go potty...lol. I definetly did not get any more sleep once they were home (sorry) but atleast my body was already used to it. Good luck! "

" I know how you feel. I am up all night in the bathroom, having a hot flash, or just plain uncomfortable. That's great that you've gotten this far. I'm guessing we won't get much sleep when they come, but it will be better quality sleep. "

" Congrats on carrying them that far!...I had an emergency c section at 34 weeks and I can tell you...your sleep is somehow different when they are born. I call it "mommy sleep." You don't get more of it but when you do lay down to sleep you are out like that and awake in 2-3 hours and do feel rested or at least I did. I think your body knows that you will not get any sleep so the sleep you do get has to be restful. Good luck and take care! "
