I am almost 31 weeks along now and baby A is still head up and baby B is vertex. My OB says along as baby A changes positions I might be able to have a vaginal delivery. Has anyone have had there babies change postion at the last minute? I am just nervous about someone cutting me open while I am awake. I have never had surgery before so I am alittle freaked out!!!!! Thanks any input would be appreciated. Monika

" It is completely understandable to be nervious about surgery. My attitude about the delivery was that I just wanted them to come out healthy..one way or the other, just not both ways. Both of mine were feet down. So I happily went into my c-section and came out with two beautiful and healthy babies. I felt nothing..and got to stay in the hospital longer which was a MAJOR blessing. I truly believe that if you think positively about the birth in that the babies are going to come out...a healthy delivery is in everyones best interest...good luck you will be fine... "

" I had a c-section at 36 weeks with my twins. I was very nervous, but while I was still really, really nervous, the Dr said.."OK Baby A is out"! I never felt a thing and both babies were delivered, I was stapled up in just under 19 minuted! The hardest part for me was having to wait in recovery while my husband and new babies were in the nursery getting their first bath and such. Good luck! "

" My son was vertec, daughter breech up until my C-Section. Didn't want to risk it, although my midwife said she'd turn her-NO THANKS! Owww. My C-Section wasn't that bad, and I'm a huge baby. Whatever decision you make, good luck! "
