Andy and I now have two tax deductions! Nora Jane and Colton Edward arrived this evening in grand fashion. My water broke at 3:25 PM and I was already dialated 5-6 cm. Within an hour, I was already to 7 cm. They rushed to get my IV in and carted me off to the operating room once I said the magic phrase, "My contractions are getting stronger". We had an emergency C-section due to the fact that she was head down, but he was lying sideways. They were both born at 6:32 PM. She came out just before him and weighed 4 lbs 13 oz. She is needing some assistance breathing, but has already started to be weened off of the oxygen slightly by 9ish. She has not been measured yet. He weighs 5 lbs 11 oz and is 18 1/2 inches. He is doing great and so far has not needed any assistance.
I will be here at least another 3 days and we are waiting to see when our munchkins get to come home. It will all depend on their progress. I have posted a few pictures! Andy, Erin, Nora, and Colton Posted on 04/15/08, 11:04 pm |

Welcome to the world Nora and Colton.Great weights...You did good,Mom How are YOU feeling? I remember when Erica and Dana were born..so long ago.. 18 hours of labor and I just couldn't sleep. I was too much in awe over what my hubby and I created. It is just the greatest feeling in the world. Enjoy your beautiful babies. You deserve much happiness.
