Did anyone else have spotting for awhile?

Hi ladies. I just found this site when I was googling "twins" and am hoping someone can help me. I just found out that I am carrying either 2 or 3 babies. Last week I was spotting and called my ob and he had me go in for a sono to check things. I thought I was nearly 7 weeks but the first sono just showed a sac and no babies. So then he thought I just ovulated later than I thought.

He ordered a hormone level and then to have that repeated in 2 days to see if it doubled. My second number went up but it didn't double so he thought I was miscarrying. He sent me for another sono and then we saw definitely 2 yolk sacs and possibly 3. It was really hard to see!

I'm going back tomorrow (one week later) to see if we can find heartbeats. I am concerned though because I keep spotting every day. Never heavy, just a little. This is not my first pregnancy and I've never had this problem before. Is this a multiples thing? I'm really hoping so.

" I had a little spotting in the first few weeks of being pregnant with my twins. Not everyday though. only once or twice. I would be making sure you are taking it easy and not letting yourself get stressed out. "

" with my first daughter i had light spotting that went into heavy bleeding resulting in the miscarrage of her twin at 9 weeks pregnant..it came with cramping pains..are you getting any pains now? i also continued to spot up until 14 weeks Ehmily is now 9 and 3/4 years old.
With tom and lily i got spotting and bleeding at about 12 weeks i had to have complete bed rest until it stopped which it did! Sometimes your lining can get a tear so that is what is bleeding too! usually if your miscarrying your hcg(if thats right) will drop lower each day where as if your still pregnant it will increase!

good luck please tell us how you go!
hugs
